“ I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stores in secrete places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel who summons you by name”

( Isaiah 45:3)

“You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanks giving to God”

( 2 Corinthians 9:11)

If we look at creation and the order in which they were created, it is clear that God made provision for every need of man. In the mind of God, he does not want man to lack anything. Even after the fall, any covenant God entered into with man, he made provision for his blessing. I want to make a case that, it is the will of God for you to be financially prosperous.

Every child of God has a covenant with God. Embedded in this covenant is the promise of his blessing. One of such blessings is financial prosperity.

Why does God want to bless believers financially?

He has promised that in his word. (Isaiah 45:3; 2 Corinthians 9:11)

We are his covenant children. (Hosea 1:18 ; 2 Corinthians 6:18)

He does it as a response to our obedience to him. (Deuteronomy 28:1.)

He does not want us to worry about what we will eat. (Matthew 6:31)

He does not want us to borrow. (Deuteronomy 15:16, 28:12)

He wants us to abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

He wants to use us as a conduit through which he can bless other people. (2 Corinthians 9:11)
